Lower level: Selector (AM/FM/Phono/Tape/Aux) – Bass,mid and treble controls – Balance – Volume. 

REAR PANEL : Speaker system (Main/Remote) – AC outlets (one unswitched,200 w max / one switched,200 w max) – Output quadradial jack – Main in and Pre out (bridged) – AM Ferrite antenna -Ground binding post – Antenna attenuator – AM antenna – FM antenna – Tape in and out – Aux – Phono.

In this version is added the signal strength meter.

Center level :  Dolby AM, Tape monitor,  Mono and  Muting switches  – Balance control slider – Low filter – Hi filter- Main and remote speakers. Lower level: Selector (AM/FM/Phono/Tape2/Aux) – Bass,Mid,treble controls – Volume – Power.

2230B : Rear Panel

Marantz manufactured  too the model 2230BD.It came with the Dolby FM Decoder, but i never seen this rare version.
